Maggie’s Farm Revival is a brand new band on the Fredericton music scene, made up of popular players from various local bands. Among the group is Paul Campbell, singer of Fredericton party band Downtown Blues Band, along with fellow DTBB members Chris Brown on guitar, Tom Blizzard on drums, and DTBB co-founder Rick Hutchins on harmonica. Spanning generations, Hutchins son, Sean, takes lead on guitar while Pete Palmer (Matchstick Mike) takes on bass duties. The band’s name pays homage to the classic 60’s Bob Dylan song “Maggie’s Farm”, an inspiration that carries through to their sound and song selection, as they focus on 60’s and 70’s blues and rock music, playing classics from one of the greatest eras in music history.
